"Coloring beautiful poetry" is the name of a project that turns poems written by Misuzu Kaneko, a children's song poet from the Taisho period (1912-1926), into designs. Misuzu Uta was inspired by the poems of Misuzu Kaneko’s poems and thanks to the foil stamping brand ROKKAKU this series became a reality!

The barrel of the product is made of 100% recycled resin from marine plastic waste, made up of almost 100% post-consumer materials. It’s a ballpoint pen certified as a product specialized in combating marine plastic waste.
The color and the Möbius strip-esque clip were both chosen to evoke the ocean and the cyclical nature of the material. Inspect the barrel closely, and you’ll find itsy bits of other color microplastics. |  |
